TRANSPORT AND DISTRIBUTION OF ICE CREAM AND FROZEN FOODS

The low temperature transport and distribution of products such as ice cream and frozen foods must satisfy very different needs, always maintaining efficiency and guarantee of cold.

Insulated and refrigerated bodies with eutectic plates have established themselves on the market as the system with the most suitable and high-performance technology. The use of eutectic plates is also becoming increasingly ideal for multi-temperature systems and for the delivery of fresh products.

Operation and advantages of eutectic plates: The system is based on an intuitive principle: the cold is accumulated during the night stop by an electrically operated refrigeration unit which freezes the eutectic solution .

Subsequently, the eutectic solution, by thawing, "returns" the previously accumulated cold , thus compensating for the thermal dispersion of the bodywork itself and of the door opening, preserving the products in full compliance with the regulations.

FIC produces plates with eutectic solution at -4° C, -11° C, -23° C, -26° C and -33° C.

RECOMMENDED BECAUSE

  • Over the years, FIC has established itself as a world leader in the construction of eutectic plates, supplying all the main manufacturers of insulated and refrigerated bodywork. Continuous research and continuous investments allow FIC to produce thousands of pieces per year for over 50 years and therefore be the global point of reference for this product
  • The eutectic plates guarantee conservation during transport regardless of the operation of the vehicle engine
  • Ideal for door-to-door transport and in historic centres.
